Ehning har åkt hem

Det kan ju inte ha varit särskilt roligt för Marcus Ehning i går kväll. Och idag packade han mycket riktigt ihop och åkte hem. Efter uteslutningen igår får han inte rida mer i världscupfinalen, och att stanna kvar och rida kringklasserna måste kännas totalt meningslöst.

Sorry all ye faithful, there will be no more mingling with German rider Marcus Ehning in the lobby bar this year. After being eliminated in the first WC-final yesterday, he packed up and left Gothenburg today.

It´s sad indeed. One of the world´s best riders, and now we won´t be seeing any more of his riding here in Gothenburg for now. 

Ehning is such an inspiration and idol for many young riders. 

Well, that´s the sport, as they say.
